Bingo - Up by the rail station!

I must admit to giving cat mother a terrific fright!  How else am I gonna get her to understand that at 2 (14 years) I am growing into a big boy....

It all started when on the Tuesday evening, cat mother came in as per and fed us and maybe she went for a walk, I just can't remember...hold on..let's check nikeplus...no she didn't actually so she was probably online...anyway, I went out before she went to bed at 10 and by all accounts she was a little worried by this as we are both usually in for her to kiss goodnight...she began to recieve calls on her mobile but because she didn't recognise the number and the ringing was persistant she turned the mobile off.

At 2:30am Bongo began crying as I still hadn't returned home.  Cat mother awoke and tried to settle him and keep him company (online watching tv) and at 4:30am she went for her walk.  She came back at 6:30am and I still hadn't returned.

By now she'd moved on a pace and was thinking about printing some photos of me to display around the pace and even went as far as to say to Bongo that perhaps it was just the two of them from now on.  She EVEN thought about getting a replacement cat as she didn't want Bongo to grow up on his own!

Well, she had to get the 7:05 to work, made her fruit salad breakfast as usual to have on the train, and then switched her phone on.  There was a message from Nicolette advising that I'd been found and that I was safe and sound.  Cat mother promptly responded back asking whether she should get off the train and return to pick me up but Nicolette texted back to say that she had also gone to work and that someone would be in all day to look after me.

Indeed I was kept in Nicolette's bedroom with plenty of food and away from the other 4 cats and I really quite liked it there.

Cat mother meanwhile, phoned big bruv and promptly burst in to tears because she couldn't believe I'd been found.  Big Bruv tried to reassure her and eventually she stopped crying, had a crap day at work and rushed home to get the cat box to pick me up.

Well, I don't know what all the fuss was about.  Sure I didn't want to leave when cat mother came in and I didn't jump for joy as soon as I saw her.  In fact when she tried to shove me into the cat box I cried all the way home.  Nicolette told cat mother that I'd been found up near the railway station and cat mother was not best pleased with this information.  I mean I was going up to all and sundry pleading for attention and a little help as to the right way home when Nicolette came along.  She went into a shop and then saw me outside again when she came out and thought this is not right.  She looked at the phone number on the collar and the rest is history.

Out of spite cat mother locked the cat flap as soon as I got in which meant we were back on the cat litter trays in the bathroom.
Bingo And Bongo Kept In

We were forced to spend our time with cat mother and then alone in the flat when she went to work for 3 days as on the 2nd day she went off galavanting to see her friend Linda and Malika and didn't return until the following night.  She left us plenty of food and we left her plenty of little pools which she then spent ages clearing up along with the big spring clean which happened w/e 2nd May.  She resolved never to lock the cat flap again and we are all happy families.

The outshot of all this is that I go round to the front (main road and bus route) when I like and I often cry outside the front door to be let in.  Cat mother doesn't like this but there is nothing she can do about it.  I'm a big boy now and I need to explore.  She worries that because I am so affectionate and a flirt that it is only a matter of time before I leave her.  I say puff puff to this!  Nonsense!  As long as I'm being fed and watered there is no need for me to be going anywhere!
